Pocket Checker ("the App") is a location-based reminder utility. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App does not have servers, accounts, or analytics. No data leaves your device.

Location Data

The App accesses your device's location to determine when you arrive at and leave a location. This data is:

• Processed entirely on your device
• Never transmitted to any server or third party
• Never stored permanently — only the current session location is held in memory
• Used solely to trigger departure reminders

Notifications

The App sends local notifications to remind you to check your pockets when leaving a location. These notifications are generated on-device and do not involve any external push notification service.

On-Device Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device using AsyncStorage:

• Your item checklist (names only)
• Your settings (dwell time threshold, monitoring toggle)
• Your recent check-in history (last 10 entries)

This data is not backed up to any cloud service by the App. Standard iOS device backups may include this data.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App uses Apple's reverse geocoding API to display location names — this is an on-device Apple service.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
